Some Tips from Woobamboo !

  • Don’t let your brush sit in liquid! This is a big one. Perhaps the BIGGEST one. Bamboo is porous, so it will eventually soak up water and expand.
  • Don’t brush hard! This is universal – meaning this goes for all tooth brushers out there, not just those using WooBamboo. There’s no need to punish your gums and your tooth enamel, and any dentist will tell you the same thing: Harder isn’t better. Brushing softer will still clean plaque from your teeth and massage your gums, without irritating your sensitive tissue and cutting the lifespan from your bristles. All-in-all, a good strategy.
  • Don’t keep it anywhere near your toilet! Yeah, this one’s a little gross – but uncomfortably true. Every flush of your toilet triggers a mini atom bombish-type explosion of bacteria that showers down on everything within a general 6 foot radius.
  • Change your brush after two months. Okay, honestly, you could go a lot longer. But it’s best not to. No matter how clean and dry you keep your brush, and even though bamboo is anti-microbial, bacteria will still win in the end. So for OPTIMAL cleanliness, swap it out every 2 months.
  • Swap your brush after you’re sick. Another biggie. When you’re sick, tons of germs hang out in your saliva. It’s just a fun place to be if you’re a microbe. Changing your brush after you’re sickness passes is just a smart thing to do, since (like we mentioned above) no matter HOW well you clean your brush, bacteria wins.
  • Enjoy. That’s right. It’s all about havin’ fun, bein’ green, and doin’ the job right. Take your time when you brush. Enjoy the process.

Easter!!

Some people I think are confused when it comes to the meaning of Easter!!  I can tell you it is not the bunnies and fluffy chickies, the candy or even coloring eggs!!   Eggs can however represent new life, because an egg brings new life and Christ was risen on the third day to bring new life!!   But just like Christmas, Easter has been way commercialized!! For those of us that are Christians we know the real meaning of Easter, but for those who haven't experienced  new life in Jesus, I will share it with you!!
EASTER-HE-IS-RISEN

In Old Testament Times, the priest would bring bulls to be sacrificed as a sin offering for himself and for the people.  The blood would purify and make atonement for their sins.  When Jesus came, He was a representation of the sacrificial lamb to take away the sins of the world. He was the final sacrifice. We no longer have to make atonement for our sins.  Jesus has done this once and for all. It's His blood that cleanses us from all sin. He was crucified on the cross.  The sin of the world was upon Him, yet He was without sin and blameless. He bore it all. This is why Jesus is referred to as the 'Lamb of God'. He was bodily resurrected  on the third day. He appeared to many. He appeared to them for 40 days, then ascended  up to Heaven.

Proverbs 31

images (2)
Proverbs 31:5 "Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted."
Proverbs 31:6 "Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts."
Proverbs 31:7 "Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more."
Intoxicating drinks can weaken reason and judgment.  A person under the influence of alcohol cannot think clearly and could not remember the laws of the land.  Strong drink is to be reserved to kill pain.  Drinking is a symptom of a greater problem.

Proverbs 31:10 "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies."
Proverbs 31:11 "The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil."
Proverbs 31:12 "She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life."
Proverbs 31:13 "She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands."
Proverbs 31:14 "She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar."
Proverbs 31:15 "She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens."
This is just saying that her worth cannot be measured in earthly things, such as rare stones (rubies).  This woman is totally faithful to her husband. He can have confidence in her, because she will not let him down.   She is beside him helping in everything. She loves to please him.  She is not lazy. She works willingly, because she wants to help.   She goes forth wherever the food for her house is and brings it home.   Her first concern is the welfare of her family.

Proverbs 31:16 "She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard."
Proverbs 31:17 "She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms."
Proverbs 31:18 "She perceiveth that her merchandise [is] good: her candle goeth not out by night."
Proverbs 31:19 "She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff."
She doesn't say to the husband that making the money for the family is his job. She helps him in this, too, when she can.  We see, here, that hard work makes her very strong.   She protects what is her own. She appreciates her husband and her family and works to keep them.    She looks for useful work to do. She is not lazy.

Proverbs 31:20 "She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy."
Proverbs 31:21 "She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household [are] clothed with scarlet."
Proverbs 31:22 "She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing [is] silk and purple."
Proverbs 31:23 "Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land."
Proverbs 31:24 "She maketh fine linen, and selleth [it]; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant."
She is not selfish, but shares with the less fortunate.   She has seen to it that her whole family has warm, comfortable garments, even for snowy weather.  She looks nice for her family. She takes care of herself, as we read earlier, and dresses nice so her husband will be proud to tell people that she is his wife.  She builds her husband up, and he has respect in the town. She never does things to make him ashamed.

Proverbs 31:25 "Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come."
Proverbs 31:26 "She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness."
Proverbs 31:27 "She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness."
Proverbs 31:28 "Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her."
Proverbs 31:29 "Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all."
Proverbs 31:30 "Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."
Proverbs 31:31 "Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."
14031
These words describe the character of the woman who fears the Lord. Her inward clothing displays divine wisdom, giving her confidence to face the future with its unexpected challenges.  Her speech conveys her wisdom and kindness.   Her speech conveys her wisdom and kindness. Her words build up and don't tear down. She is not a gossip or a slanderer. When she speaks, it is to help. Her wisdom instructs her children.  She was a skilled manager of the home.  She is greatly respected because she has earned the praise of her family.   She has done the best of all toward her family and God.   To have a wife who is attractive to look at is nice, but the very best you can do is to have a wife who fears God and keeps His commandments. Her works speak for themselves. She has earned her praise.

Proverbs 30

Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield unto them that put their trust in him."
Proverbs 30:6 "Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."
Proverbs 30:7 "Two [things] have I required of thee; deny me [them] not before I die:"
Proverbs 30:8 "Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:"
Our shield is our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.    This seems to be a prayer to God asking only 2 things for the rest of his life. Vanity and lies are one. He asked to not lie and be vain, and that he not be overcome by wealth and poverty.   Most sin comes because of vanity and lies and because of greed. God help us to walk in your ways and not our own.

These verses picture 4 creatures which survive due to natural instinct. The wisdom seen in each of these reveals the beauty of the wise Creator and His creation.  These four are little in stature, but not in accomplishments. The natural instincts of all four make them very wise. We could take a lesson from each of them.  Ants live in communities and work together as a unit and survive through planning and labor. They are the opposite of the sluggard or slothful man.  The locusts act as one body and work together. These survive through careful organization.  These animals called conies live in the rocks for security.  The spider (actually this is a lizard) works with its hands and winds up in palaces. These creatures are resourceful and can make their home in inaccessible places, even in a palace.
proverbs3030
Proverbs 30:29 "There be three [things] which go well, yea, four are comely in going:"
Proverbs 30:30 "A lion [which is] strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;"
Proverbs 30:31 "A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom [there is] no rising up."
Proverbs 30:32 "If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, [lay] thine hand upon thy mouth."
The "lion" is the king of the beasts and fears nothing in the jungle. He is king of the forest.  A "greyhound" is very graceful in running and has great speed so that no other animal can catch him.   The "he goat" proudly leads the other goats.  The "king against whom there is no rising up" is because he has the confidence of his people and they follow him willingly.   The proud, arrogant person will only make matters worse, if he begins to talk and is warned to guard the words of his mouth.   The thoughts of the heart, if they are evil, must never be allowed to pass the lips, as well. The best advice in both cases is keep the mouth shut until you reconsider. Words can destroy you, if they are the wrong words.
