Paperdolls & Dress-up

 the girls had a lot of fun making chinese paperdolls!

 we are gluing on the clothes and making a border of paperdolls from the different countries we visit on our trip around the world!

 the girls had fun dressing up in some costumes for China and they are holding their passports and little booklet they made today of the animals of China!

 does she look Chinese? they had fun with the costumes anyways!

Levi trying not get in any of the pics, He wouldn't dress up for a picture and wouldn't make paper dolls. We started working on our lapbooks today too.

We are working on a poster for Missionaries around the world so if you know of any from whatever country let us know, we would like to have pictures of them but not necessary!
we will be praying for missionaries in the country and any persecuted Christians!

China

 here are our posters we made! and we will be adding things to it as we go!

 this one we will be adding the animals that we learn about for each country!

 Haddie wrote her name, hello and thank you in Chinese!

 Hosannah writing about the animal she picked which was a golden monkey, she learned that they are herbivores with lichens being its main food source!

We are going to be using Expedition Earth for world geography!
can't wait to start it and we will post pictures along the way!
I think we will be heading to China first!
We will be making passports that they will get stamped each time we learn about a new country!

My baby turned 5 today

Oh how the time flies by, my baby turned 5 today I can hardly believe it.

Shayne also had a birthday but he turned 18.

I love you guys and Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!

Graduation

Our third son is graduating.

Three have graduated, and now three grandchildren

I'm feeling old all of a sudden.

I'm trying to get everything done for the open house on Saturday.

Our children grow up way to fast for my way of thinking.

I'm going to try to make the most of the years I have left with little ones around.

I'M A GRANDMA AGAIN !!!!!!!!!

The twins are now big brothers to a little sister who made her appearance on June 20th at

12:23pm she weighed in at 6#10oz. 19 1/2in.

Her name is Riley Ann and she's very sweet.

I 'm going to show some pictures of the building, my husband hauled home for me.

as you can see, I have a lot of work ahead of me. starting by gutting the whole inside then tape and paint.

I am planning on using old cupboards for displaying things, I have some and will have to watch for some more. I am just itching to start.

I will try to post pictures as I progress along.
