Have you tried Diatomaceous Earth??

DE-2.5-JUG-125w
What exactly is Diatomaceous Earth??
Diatomaceous earth technically comes from the cell walls of fossilized single-cell diatoms – essentially, it’s a fossil, ground into a very fine powder. There are two general types of diatomaceous earth: food grade and industrial grade. While industrial grade is toxic to humans and pets, food grade diatomaceous earth is non-toxic and very beneficial on multiple levels, and is the type I’ll be talking about today.

Diatomaceous earth exhibits some interesting properties:

  • When viewed through a microscope, it looks like a hollow cylinder, with holes throughout the side.
  • Diatomaceous earth is also very hard. On a scale of “hardness”, if diamonds were a 9, diatomaceous earth would be a 7. This helps us too – as this powder makes its way through our digestive tract, it gently “scrubs” the packed-on residue we have there and sweeps it out of our bodies. Nice, diatoms!
  • Also, because of this quality, it is very sharp. Organisms such as parasites, lurking in our intestines, are sliced up and killed, and swept away when we empty our bowels, and we are left unharmed.
  •  food grade diatomaceous earth is 84% silica, and contains some 20 trace minerals. Did you know life can’t exist without silica? It is essential for the building of healthy bones and teeth, skin, hair, and nails. As our mineral resources are getting depleted, our food is containing less and less silica.

How Do I Take Diatomaceous Earth?

YOU MUST ONLY BUY AND USE FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH.
I would start out using a teaspoon stirred into water or juice! Follow that with another glass of water! It can also be added to smoothies! Later you can work up to taking it more but if you do it too fast you may feel sick or have a headache because it is detoxifying you!! So go slowly at adding it to you day!
It is also safe for Pregnant women and children!!
What does it taste like, well like dirt I guess! So it may be hard to get down, but the benefits out way the taste in my opinion!!
Taking in a smoothie is the easiest way to take it, and for giving it to children!

What Can Diatomaceous Earth Do for Your Body?

  • Since it sweeps out foreign matter, you will begin to notice better nutrient absorption and less fatigue.
  • Studies show that DE can help your body lower cholesterol and high blood pressure.
  • The beauty mineral: the silica in DE helps hair and nails grow faster.  The silica also helps reduce wrinkles, age spots, and acne, and it also strengthens teeth and bones, tendons, and joints.
  • Metal detoxification: since DE sweeps heavy metals out of the body, this is helpful especially to those with heavy metal poisoning or mercury fillings, which leach mercury constantly into the body. Aluminum is also swept out, lowering the risk for Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Helps repair and maintain lung function, acts as a cough decreasing agent
  • Helps prevent kidney stones, osteoporosis,
  • Decreases vertigo, tinnitus, and insomnia
  • Regulates bowel movements, lessens gastrointestinal inflammation, cleans out the colon, treats both diarrhea and constipation.
  • Treats head lice and fleas (make sure you don’t inhale the powder)

Diatomaceous Earth for your Animals

It’s true – your pets and livestock will reap the benefits as well.
  • Sprinkle a little DE on your pets’ food daily for the same benefits you receive. This is a great de-wormer! We used it for our puppies after they were born and had no problems with worms!!
  • Carefully sprinkle onto your pets’ and livestock’s coats – making sure none is inhaled – for protection from lice, ticks and fleas. We also used it on our dog and her puppies, no fleas or ticks!
  • Sprinkle in the kitty litter box and pet beds for extra odor and flea protection.
  • Sprinkle in your barn, stalls, nesting areas, and coops for pest protection.
  • Decreased mastitis and increased milk production in livestock with internal use. Causes healthier coat and hooves.
  • Better and stronger eggs produced by hens who have it sprinkled in their feed.

You can use Diatomaceous Earth around your home in the following ways!!

  • Sprinkle around windows and entrances to protect from ants, spiders, and even scorpions. (The DE scrapes their exoskeleton and dries it out, leaving them dead.)
  • Sprinkle a ring around your garden plants for protection from garden pests. (Do realize, though, that DE kills beneficial insects as well. Avoid applying onto flowers. – Does not harm worms or beneficial soil microorganisms.
  • DE will destroy ant colonies, even fire ant colonies. Sprinkle around and in the hole.
  • DE can be used to treat a bedbug infestation.
  • Sprinkle DE in your garbage bins for odor and pest protection.
  • Got a compost heap? Apply DE to keep odors and pests away.
  • Add to manure heaps to keep flies and larvae down.Planning to try this when we get our horses this summer!!
  • Add to bulk grains to keep pests and moisture out.
  • You can use DE to make your own homemade toothpaste! I am working on a recipe and will post on my blog when done!!
  • You can add DE to your homemade “DE”odorant – I am also working on a recipe for this.
  • You can sprinkle DE in your toilet for a little extra scrubbing power – it won’t harm porcelain.

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops Review.

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
We had not heard of these before so it was something new to try!! We sampled the cherry, honey, and licorice.
My daughters preferred the licorice, It took us a little while to get used to the fact that they were a soft throat  drop!! They seem to sooth the throat temporarily which is good!

I gave some to my parents to try too!  They thought they relived a sore throat, and did't mind the taste, but apparently they stick to dentures which would be a draw back for those with dentures!

My 20 year old tried them too! He said he ended up with a sore throat from using them! Although he thought the cherry tasted ok!!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Pilgrimage- book review

From the Back Cover

We all encounter times when our spirit feels dry, when doubt looms.
The opportunity to tour Israel came at a good time. For months, my life has been a mindless plodding through necessary routine, as monotonous as an all-night shift on an assembly line. Life gets that way sometimes, when nothing specific is wrong but the world around us seems drained of color. Even my weekly worship experiences and daily quiet times with God have felt as dry and stale as last year's crackers. I'm ashamed to confess the malaise I've felt. I have been given so much. Shouldn't a Christian's life be an abundant one, as exciting as Christmas morning, as joyful as Easter Sunday?
With gripping honesty, Lynn Austin pens her struggles with spiritual dryness in a season of loss and unwanted change. Tracing her travels throughout Israel, Austin seamlessly weaves events and insights from the Word . . . and in doing so finds a renewed passion for prayer and encouragement for her spirit, now full of life and hope.

"While Christian novelist Lynn Austin's tour of the Holy Land revives her own parched spiritual walk, the impressions she shares and the connections
she makes while visiting the land where miracles happened are perceptive and illuminating....While readers will enjoy her comfortable, narrative style, the thoughts she shares, the questions she asks, and the conclusions she draws are both humbling and convicting. Recommend this book to those who may have or will travel to Israel, but also to those who seek to renew their Christian commitment and need a novel way to begin." CBA Retailers+Resources

MY THOUGHTS

The author let us take a tour of Israel with her, somewhere I probably will never see!! She has a great knowledge of the Bible and of Israel! She makes you feel like you are there with her!
If you are  struggling in your faith this is a good book to read, Lynn talks about the dryness and what she did about it!!  So this book would be great if you are going to be going to Israel this would be a great tour guide!!
I also like how she starts out with a verse and ends with a prayer in each chapter!
I've read some of her other books and have always enjoyed her style of writing!!
I could relate to some of the things she talked about, such as grown children moving away, when you think they will always be close around! Somethings you have to get used to and resigned too!
Just like we need water to survive physically we need God to survive spiritually!!
Chapter 11 Sabbath Rest
On the Sabbath we remember to rest on God, trusting Him for all our practical needs such as our daily bread and for strength in our trials. The Sabbath helps us to remember to rest in God!!Trusting Him for our salvation, knowing that none of the work we do will ever gain us entrance int heaven!!
Thank you Lord for my children and reminding me that they aren't mine but yours, and that you want what is best for them and are fighting for their souls!!!

Disclosure: This book was given to me for free from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review.

Love Dare Day 40

~~Day 40~ Love is a covenant~~
CovenantOfLoveBW
Where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. —Ruth 1: 16

We've reached the end of the Love Dare book, but you never stop loving your mate!
There are many other differences between covenants and contracts. A contract is usually a written agreement based on distrust, outlining the conditions and consequences if broken. A covenant is a verbal commitment based on trust, assuring someone that your promise is unconditional and good for life. It is spoken before God out of love for another.
Keeping this covenant is not something you can do in your own strength. There’s good reason why God was the One who initiated covenants with His people. He alone is able to fulfill the demands of His own promises.  But the Spirit of God is within you by virtue of your faith in His Son and the grace He bestowed upon you in salvation. That means with His help, you now can exercise your role as a covenant keeper, no matter what may arise to challenge your faithfulness to it. Especially if your spouse is not in a place of receiving your love right now, the act of covenant keeping can grow more daunting with each passing day.
~~TODAY'S DARE~~
Write out a renewal of your vows and place them in your home. Perhaps, if appropriate, you could make arrangements to formally renew your wedding vows before a minister and with family present. Make it a living testament to the priceless value of marriage in God’s eyes and the high honor of being one with your mate.
What has God revealed to you during the Love Dare?
How have your views of your marriage changed?
How committed are you to God and to your spouse?
Who can you share this with as a testimony?

Love Dare Day 39

                                                                       441272487_640
                                                                                         ~~ Day 39~ Love Endures~~
                                                                                  Love never fails. —1 Corinthians 13: 8

Of the fruits of the spirit the first is love,
When you have done everything possible to make your marriage work, your spouse may still choose to walk away! But if your marriage fails and your spouse walks away let it not be because you gave up or quit loving them.
This is your chance to declare in print that no matter what imperfections exist— both in you and in your spouse— your love is greater still. No matter what they’ve done or how often they’ve done it, you choose to love them anyway .
Your saying to your spouse no matter what has happened between us in the past I choose to love you now. Love never fails!!
~~TODAY'S DARE~~
Spend time in personal prayer, then write a letter of commitment and resolve to your spouse. Include why you are committing to this marriage until death, and that you have purposed to love them no matter what. Leave it in a place that your mate will find it.
What were some of the hesitations you had in writing this letter ?
How do you expect your spouse to respond to it?
How did God help you in writing it, and what did the process teach you about yourself?

Love Dare Day 38

~Day 38~Love Fulfills Dreams~
Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. —Psalm 37: 4

What is something your spouse would really, really love? And how often do you ask yourself that question?

Dreams and desires come in all shapes and sizes. But love thinks lavishly while taking careful notice of each one. So . . .
* Listen between the lines to discover what your mate is hoping for or really needing.
* Remember special things that are unique to your relationship, or see how you could create new memories during this season of your lives.
* Give when it would be a lot more convenient to wait.
*Daydream about opportunities so often that planning surprises becomes second nature.

We dare you to think in terms of overwhelming your spouse with love, to exceed all their expectations with your surprising kindness. Whether it’s free or a financial sacrifice, it needs to reflect your thoughtfulness and a heart willing to express itself with extravagance.

~TODAY'S DARE~
Ask yourself what your mate would want if it was obtainable. Commit this to prayer, and start mapping out a plan for meeting some (if not all) of their desires, to whatever level you possibly can.

What has made you resistant to fulfilling your mate’s desires in the past?
How would it change your relationship if they knew their dreams were a priority to you?
What desires are you attempting to meet?

This Side of Heaven

Yesterday I was at a funeral for a special young lady, who lived her life for the Lord, a picture of what we should all be doing, she witnessed to everyone she came in contact with!   How many of us can say that?  She was also a prayer warrior, praying for alot of her friends! I know in my own life I have not been as diligent in praying as I should be, so this is a wake up call to us all to be better at praying for all in need!
I have been to alot of funerals in my time, and I can honestly say there have only been a handful of those that were so good, and gave a message that would be hard for people not to respond to! I pray that God will use the message heard by so many to win more souls for heaven!

It really touched my life, realizing I am not witnessing and studying my bible like I should be! We can all use this for a reminder of what our job is here on earth, to be winning souls for Him!!  Her life is an inspiration to us all! What a beautiful tribute to a courageous young lady! Who when she left this earth was worried about all the people she hadn't yet had a chance to witness too, so I think we should all pick up the mantle and go and witness to all that we come in contact with!!
MARK 16:15
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

JOHN 3:15-18
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

She is rejoicing in heaven, but those left behind are grieving!
So please continue to pray for her husband and two little boys, her parents, siblings, in-laws and all who were a part of her life!

This was one of the songs that was sung! beautiful and will probably bring tears to your eyes!

Love Dare Day 37

~~Day 37~ Love agrees in prayer~~
praying-couple
If two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father. —Matthew 18: 19
When a husband and wife talk to God together, something amazing happens. Jesus said, for example, “If two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them . . . . For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst” (Matthew 18: 19– 20). Though Jesus’ words apply to all believers, they certainly apply to Christian marriages.
Prayer can:
  • give you wisdom when faced with difficult decisions
  • bring comfort when struggling through fears and insecurities
  • provide peace when having arguments or marital struggles
  • provide a place to seek shelter when you don't know where else to turn
  • remind you that God has made the two of you into one flesh
It's difficult to stay angry with someone while you hold their hand in prayer.  It draws the two of you together, face to face, on common grown.
TODAY'S DARE Ask your spouse if you can begin praying together. Talk about the best time to do this, whether it’s in the morning, your lunch hour, or before bedtime. Use this time to commit your concerns, disagreements, and needs before the Lord. Don’t forget to thank Him for His provision and blessing. Even if your spouse refuses to do this, resolve to spend this daily time in prayer yourself.
How did your mate respond to your request to pray together?
If you agreed to do it, what was it like?
What did you learn from it?

Love Dare Day 36

~~Day 36~ Love is God’s Word~~
1-love_is_gods_word-003
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. —Psalm 119:105
In order for God's word to be helpful to us we have to commit to it.  Immerse ourselves in it.  And know it.

Get into a daily habit of reading the Bible!!
Be in it. If this is not already a habit of yours, now is the time to begin reading a portion of the Bible every day .
Stay under it. Yes, the Bible can be deep and challenging. That’s why it’s so important to be part of a church where the Word is faithfully taught and preached.
Live it. Unlike most other books, which are only designed to be read and digested, the Bible is a living book.
Wise couples build their houses on the rock of God’s Word. They’ve seen what sand can do.
~~TODAY'S DARE~~
Commit to reading the Bible every day. Find a devotional book or other resource that will give you some guidance. If your spouse is open to it, see if they will commit to daily Bible reading with you. Begin submitting each area of your life to its guidance, and start building on the rock.
What parts of your life are in the greatest need of God’s counsel?
Where do you feel the most susceptible to failure?
What are you asking God to show you through His Word?

Love Dare Day 35

~~Day 35~ Love is accountable~~
1-love-is-accountable
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. —Proverbs 15: 22 NIV
Our marriage vows said  "in good times and bad" and  "in sickness and in health" So we should face challenges united together!
It is also important that we have  strong, healthy, and  godly relationships! All people need some advice sometimes!
Wise people seek council, and foolish people run from it! “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel” (Proverbs 12: 15).
Do you have an older couple or a friend of the same gender you can turn to for good advice, for prayer support, and for regular accountability check-ups?
How do you pick a good mentor? You look for someone who has the kind of marriage you want! And who has a heart for Christ, and puts that first before anything else. Be prayerfully seeking Gods choice in this for you!
~~ TODAY'S DARE~~
Find a marriage mentor— someone who is a strong Christian and who will be honest and loving with you. If you feel that counseling is needed, then take the first step to set up an appointment. During this process, ask God to direct your decisions and discernment.
Who did you choose?
Why did you select this person?
What do you hope to learn from them?

Love Dare Day 34

1-Love-Celebrates-600x600
~Day 34~ Love celebrates godliness~
[Love] does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. —1 Corinthians 13: 6
The closer you and your spouse are to God, the more loving you will be in marriage (John 13: 34– 35). Our roles as husband or wife are greatly enhanced by becoming growing Christians. People who don’t rely on God are significantly limited, left to depend on their own changing feelings, selfish thinking, and human efforts. But with Him, we have daily access to His toolbox for marriage. His Word nourishes us spiritually and equips us (2 Timothy 3: 16– 17).
But what if your spouse is not a believer? How can you champion godly behavior in them if they don’t believe in God and refuse to submit to Him? Paul told believing spouses to stay true to their unbelieving mates, pray for them, and live an exemplary life before them in reverence to God (1 Corinthians 7: 10– 16). Yes, this may invite ridicule in some marriages. But when Christ takes over a man’s heart, the long-term life change and spiritual transformation God develops in him is a powerful testimony that is hard for his wife to deny. Scripture exhorts wives to quietly use their submission, purity, and respectful behavior to win over their husbands (1 Peter 3: 1– 2). Sometimes you may feel as if you are only making it more difficult for your spouse to see Jesus in you. But stay prayerful, respectful, and loving. God is not finished with them yet. He has placed a witness to Himself right in their bed next to  them.
We should be encouraging our spouses and rejoicing in how God works to accomplish His plan for them and for our marriage.
~~TODAY'S DARE~~
Find a specific, recent example when your spouse demonstrated Christian character in a noticeable way (faith, love, honesty, patience, kindness, service, compassion, humility, etc.). Verbally commend them for this at some point
What example did you choose to recognize?
How many other ways could you celebrate their growth in godliness?
How could you encourage them to persevere in it?

Stainless Steel & Gridded Nylon Muddler Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
This is a picture of the muddler!

It has a grooved nylon head which works sort of like teeth and releases the oils from the herbs!

We all add herbs to our breads, pizza sauce, dips and other things!
Do you use fresh herbs in your recipes? Then you may want to try this muddler that works even better than a mortal and pestle, it seems to break down the herbs better!
There are some people who would use this muddler to prepare their favorite cocktail!
Haven't used it that way myself but breaking down the mint would work marvelous!
A great addition to any kitchen!
It is stainless steel which I love, and very light weight, it also says it won't scratch glassware!
I also crunched up chips with it, which works really well!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Love Dare Day 33

~Day 33~ Love completes each other~
images
If two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? —Ecclesiastes 4: 11
God created each of us to compliment each other in marriage!
In the finale of God’s creation, He made the first marriage by taking one man, removing part of him, and fashioning a woman. In this mystery of matrimony, two could then come together and become one. Adam, though complete with God alone, found his God-given needs met even more fully with Eve, his complement in life. This is true in your marriage also.
Marriage is one of God’s unique ways of showing both men and women that we’re not all-sufficient in ourselves, that the effectiveness of our marriage is dependent upon both of us working together.
Joined together, you are greater than your independent parts. You need each other. You complete each other.
~~TODAY'S DARE~~
Recognize that your spouse is integral to your future success. Let them know today that you desire to include them in your upcoming decisions, and that you need their perspective and counsel. If you have ignored their input in the past, admit your oversight and ask them to forgive you.
How did your spouse respond?
What are some upcoming decisions you can make together?
What did you learn today about the role of your mate?

Love Dare Day 32

Day 32~Love meets sexual needs
love-meets-sexual-needs
The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband. —1 Corinthians 7: 3

In marriage, romance is meant to thrive and vibrantly flourish.
The Song of Solomon, for example , though frequently misunderstood as nothing more than an allegory about God’s passion for His people, is also a beautiful love story.
Sex was created by God as a bond and a blessing for husband and wife. Two becoming one flesh in an act of love.
Sex is not a weapon.  It is not a bargaining tool.  It is not a reward.   It should not be withheld or given in response to whether or not your spouse is behaving in a way you like or doing what you want.
Sex is a way of giving yourself to your spouse to meet his needs.  Just as your spouse is to meet your needs.  It is a way to express honor and endearment to each other.

When the intimacy of marriage is acted out in the right way, for the right reasons - this is truly God's plan for marriage.  The two united in one flesh.  United in His love.

~TODAY'S DARE~
IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, TRY TO INITIATE SEX WITH YOUR HUSBAND OR WIDE TODAY.  DO THIS IN A WAY THAT HONORS WHAT YOUR SPOUSE HAS TOLD YOU (OR IMPLIED TO YOU) ABOUT WHAT THEY NEED FROM YOU SEXUALLY.  ASK GOD TO MAKE THIS ENJOYABLE FOR BOTH OF YOU AS WELL AS A PATH TO GREATER INTIMACY.
Was this a satisfying experience for you?
If it didn’t turn out the way you’d hoped, what do you think is complicating matters?
Have you committed this to prayer ?
If it was a true blessing for both of you, what can you learn from this for the future?

Love Dare Day 31

~~Day 31~ Love and marriage~~
A man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. —Genesis 2: 24
happy-marriage
This verse is God’s original blueprint for marriage. His specific “one man + one woman = one” design was established at creation (Genesis 2: 24), verified by Jesus (Mark 10: 6– 9), and clarified by the apostle Paul (Ephesians 5: 31).
“Leaving” means that you are breaking a natural tie. Your parents now step into the role of counselors to be respected.
“Cleaving” carries the idea of catching someone by pursuit, clinging to them as your new help and support .
However, it’s not unusual for couples— even Christian couples— to think they know better than God does and ignore His purpose for their union or their roles as He designed. Applying Genesis 2: 24 seems too foreign or difficult for them. So they settle for worldly thinking and neglect the “leaving and cleaving” God intended. They may sacrifice the oneness and strength of the most ultimate relationship of their lives to please others who are not a part of them. They don’t realize that the more unified their marriage, the more fulfilled and stronger they will be to handle every other role and responsibility in their lives.
The husband and wife must be as one. A united front. United in decision making. United in their priorities. United in their affections.
So leave. And cleave. And dare to walk as one.
~~TODAY'S DARE~~
Is there a “leaving” issue with your parents or someone else you haven’t been brave enough to conquer yet? Confess it to your spouse today, and resolve to make it right. The oneness of your marriage is dependent upon it. Follow this with a commitment to your spouse and to God to make your marriage the top priority over every other human relationship.
Has this been a hard thing for you to deal with?
How has it affected your relationship?
If the worse offender in this area is your spouse (with your in-laws), how can you lovingly move this toward a better situation?

Love Dare Day 30

~~DAY 30~Love Brings Unity~~
Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. —John 17: 11
Unity. Togetherness . Oneness. These are the unshakable hallmarks of our God.
What would happen in your marriage, husband, if you devoted yourself to loving, honoring, and serving your wife in all things?
What would happen, wife, if you made it your mission to do everything possible to promote togetherness of heart with your husband?
What if we took these words of the apostle Paul to heart? “Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our  Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment” (1 Corinthians 1: 10).
~~ TODAY'S DARE~~
Isolate one area of division in your marriage and pray about it. Ask the Lord to reveal anything in your own heart that is threatening oneness in your marriage. Pray that He would open up the communication lines so that you can find more agreement and stay on the same page. And if appropriate, discuss this matter openly, seeking God for unity.
Did the Lord open your eyes to anything new that might be giving fuel to this point of disagreement?
How do you intend to respond?
What do you hope to see God do in your spouse as well?

LOVE DARE DAY 29

1-praisejesus-001
~~Day 29~ Love's Motivation~~
Render service with a good attitude, as to the Lord and not to men. —Ephesians 6: 7 HCSB
We may not always feel motivated to demonstrate love to our spouse.  And when we do express love, they may not always be getting the message. We can’t rely solely on the actions of another imperfect person to determine how much (if any) love we show them. The love for our spouse should honor the Lord with our devotion and sincerity.  The love you demonstrate in marriage should actually have one chief objective: loving and honoring the Lord with devotion and sincerity.      Love that keeps God as its primary focus is unlimited in the heights it can attain. When you’re not motivated to do it for them, do it for Him.

~~TODAY’S DARE~~
BEFORE YOU SEE YOUR SPOUSE AGAIN TODAY, PRAY FOR THEM BY NAME AND FOR THEIR NEEDS. WHETHER IT COMES EASY FOR YOU OR NOT, SAY “I LOVE YOU”, THEN EXPRESS LOVE TO THEM IN SOME TANGIBLE WAY. GO TO GOD IN PRAYER AGAIN, THANKING HIM FOR GIVING YOU THE PRIVILEGE OF LOVING THIS ONE SPECIAL PERSON – UNCONDITIONALLY, THE WAY HE LOVES BOTH OF YOU.
How will this change of motivation affect your relationship and reactions?
What does this inspire you to do?
What does it inspire you to stop doing?
